Atrist: Richard DeLisle

Richard (Richie) DeLisle is a 14 year old 8th grader at Whitefield Elementary School. He is the Vice President of the Whitefield's chapter of National Junior Society, and a three sport athlete. However the arts are where he finds his greatest joy, and inspiration. He has enjoyed the visual arts ever since he could first hold a pencil, and his love of playing music started in early fourth grade when he first picked up a ukulele. Today he is a talented guitar player who plays music from Metallica to Lynyrd Skynyrd and everything in between. He has a well tuned ear, and a keen eye, and sees and hears inspiration in everything... radio, commercial jingles, instruments, illustrations and doodles. Often a common seeming thing will send Richie down a creative rabbit hole of song writing and drawing.
